Planning Consent On Former Builder Merchants Site In National Park
Updated: September 18, 2025
Acting on behalf of Stark Building Materials UK Ltd., Goadsby has obtained planning permission for the alternative use of the former Jewson Builder Merchants site at Common Road, Whiteparish. Situated in the New Forest National Park, the site now benefits from consent for use as light industrial and / or storage and distribution – the former use having fallen outside of any of those defined in the Use Classes Order.
Issues raised during the determination of the application included arboricultural impact, ecology and surface water flooding.
